Terrorised by Terror Attacks!!

Chicago ,02/22/2010

Today ,Discussing about India's face against terrorism!! One by one ,considering every country !!!

Is there an end to this ????

IS THE WORLD not anymore a safe place to live in ?? this just raises many more questions to be answered ! Is the perception of Pakistan in answering questions about their country being a part of mastermind behind any terror attack , in any part of the world is just too bored ???

26-11-2008 , the day the Mumbai police froze, now it’s a year after such an attack , are we safe enough to live , be it at any part of the world ?? there would only be raised eyebrows instead of clear cut answer, as only the heart goes out every time when we think about it! There have been many speculations whether there should ba a debate as this day had to be celebrated or mourned! Without doubt it has to be mourned, because we Indians were not in a position to do anything against those terrorists for those 62 hours. When we speak about all these it only raises many more question to be answered! , when those terrorists were so planned , why were we not even half prepared to counterstrike them. There was even a live coverage as if it was an India Australia cricket match . and on the other hand , yes ! it is also a day to be celebrated . for those 9 brave officers including ATS chief hemant karkare and major unnikrishnan, who lost their lives fighting those terrorists. Life is all about taking up challenges and those jawans knew it could be their last day in this beautiful world, but they jumped in with the responsibility of saving the hostages and also the prestige of the country!.

But now after a year what have we done? Ajmal kasab, the only surviving terrorist ,The Government has spent an amount of Rs.31 crores on one single individual till date!!! Is this how our tax money being misused or wasted ?

Kasab's trial was delayed due to legal issues, as many Indian lawyers were unwilling to represent him. A Mumbai Bar Association passed a resolution proclaiming that none of its members would represent Kasab. However, the Chief Justice of India stated that Kasab needed a lawyer for a fair trial. A lawyer for Kasab was eventually found, but was replaced due to a conflict of interest. On 25 February 2009, Indian investigators filed an 11,000-page Chargesheet, formally charging Kasab with murder, conspiracy, and waging war against India among other charges. Kasab's trial began on 6 May 2009. He initially pleaded not guilty, but later admitted his guilt on 20 July 2009. He initially apologized for the attacks and claimed that he deserved the death penalty for his crimes, but later retracted these claims, saying that he had been tortured by police to force his confession, and that he had been arrested while roaming the beach. The court had accepted his plea, but due to the lack of completeness within his admittance, the judge had deemed that many of the 86 charges were not addressed and therefore the trial will continue. Kasab could, and will almost certainly, be hanged if given the maximum penalty of death.but all these happens even after all T V channels clearly showing his picture carrying a gun on his back!

The terror attacks these days are not something which asks for the officials to find the person or the group or the mastermind behind it, because, within an hour of the attack anyone “banned” outfit, be it the LeT or Al queda claim responsibility for it.Now after a year of interrogation with Ajmal Kasab, the news or the information that he has given is that, the attackers of 26/11 were instructed by LeT to kill politicians, foreigners and prominent Indian personalities and also claim that Zakir-ur Rehman Lakhi (LeT operations chief) is the mastermind behind the incident and yet Pakistan government say “there is not enough evidence against lakhvi and hafeez”, another evidence showing pakistan’s silence over taking any necessary steps.

After the Mumbai attacks , the Indian government has refused to pursue peace talks , arguing as long as Pakistan tolerates the presence of terrorists organizations on its soil, there can be no meaningful negotiations. Again and again the Indian leadership and the media have echoed the mantra of Pakistan “not doing enough”against the planners of Mumbai attacks .
Is petty politics hindering India’s war on terror? A question to be answered next . no government does good for the people, as they are busy arguing ,debating about the greatness of their own party . if this is not true , then why is it that only 118 out of the 423 affected families have received the compensation , where and who has the rest of the money!??? Why does everyone want to politicize the issue, instead of finding a solution to it! ,all these only adds to the mental agony of the people , who has suffered…

Indians criticised their political leaders after the attacks, saying that their ineptness was partly responsible. The Times of India commented on its front page that "Our politicians fiddle as innocents die."Political reactions in Mumbai and India included a range of resignations and political changes, including the resignations of Minister for Home Affairs, Shivraj Patil,Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Vilasrao Deshmukh, and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharastra R. R. Patil. In addition, there was condemnation of the attacks by Indian Muslim organizations and personalities and Naxalite insurgents[citation needed]. Prominent Muslim personalities such as Bollywood actor Aamir Khan appealed to the community members in the country to observe Eid al-Adha as a day of mourning on 9 December 2008.

The whole world is wounded (it may be a pun ) but definitely more wounded at their hearts!

When asked about this , the ministry concerned answers that they would do anything to “provide security and also to maintain the dignity of our country “. But it was the same ministry , which was not able to provide security to two grand events. The ipl and the parliament elections. They wanted to shift the ipl to south africs or postpone is forgetting the revenue it would bring into our country! . this makes us all wonder , is this what maintain the dignity in thieir own way mean????

As I write this , it has been more than a year to the day since the terrorist atrocity in mumbai took place. A year later , perhaps we can look back on the attack with greater degree of objectivity., but before we could look back into it , and think of what to do ,in the first major terror strike since the 26/11 mumbai carnage , at least nine people, including a foreigner, were killed and 32 injured when a powerful bomb ripped through the landmark German Bakery in Pune's upscale Koregaon Park on a fine saturday evening!

A sombre Home Minister MR.P Chidambaram, described the blast"s" a sad event, the first significant terror incident in 14 months", but cautioned against drawing any hasty conclusions as to its perpetrators."

Lets find a solution to it, is terrorism the only way to kill terrorism ? do we want a Hiroshima or Nagasaki kind of attack over Afghanistan (home of all terror groups) , or do we have to follow it the gandian way? Every Indian who has a heart which feels for others are wounded.. but this time lets make this wound to stay in us , lets not apply a balm to cure it . lets have this pain inside us and those sufferings in our mind and pray god that he is able to change the minds of those who kill innocent people for no reason and make him realize the world is a beautiful place to live in !!

LETS HOPE IT HAPPENS SOON!!!
