Get It Over With, Fab!

It's 3 years now ever since the Fabregas to Barcelona saga started. And it's been shuttling back and forth between Barcelona and Arsenal.
Reading this post: (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3668070/Barcelona-close-on-32million-Cesc-Fabregas.html) gives me mixed emotions, Being the Gooner that I am, I don't want to see Fabregas leaving Arsenal, but the other part of me, the footballer, wants Fabregas to join Barcelona because his heart lies there and come on, He has been hinting that for quite sometime now.
He said everything except "I want to leave Arsenal this year".

Last summer, Arsene Wenger convinces Fabregas to stay for one more year, and the result? Losing 4 competitions in the time of just 3 weeks. The Champions League, Carling Cup, Premier League and the FA Cup.
From being in pole position to win the premier league, Arsenal ended up finishing 4th. That shows what to expect out of the young side Wenger is building.

Leave Arsenal or the silverware, Let's focus on Fabregas.
Would he be happy at Barcelona?
Absolutely since it's his hometown, the team he played as a youngster, and his best friend is playing for the club and more than half of his Spanish Team mates want him there.

Would he be a regular starter?
I don't think so since Xavi,Iniesta and Busquets are the 3 greatest mid fielders right now and a starting place for Fabregas in the Barcelona line-up looks bleak.
Since Barcelona have ALMOST signed the Chilean, Alexis Sanchez for more money, I think he would be picked ahead of Fabregas since he scores goal at a prolific rate and that's what Pep Guardiola wants.

Would he be the same force to reckon with 3 years down the line?
No, He won't be what he is with Arsenal when he is with Barcelona. Though Arsenal play a similar kind of football, Fabregas won't have the liberty he had at Arsenal in Barcelona. In Arsenal, he is the cog wheel of the team, the team depends on him and the team needs him.
The Jack Wilshere's and Aaron Ramsey's look up to Fabregas.

Which is better? Working with a young team and making them win or Being at a world beating side but warming the bench?
Even a guy with half a brain would say that he'd prefer the former. Fabregas at 24 is already a legend at the Emirates. Imagine how good he will be treated if he retires playing for Arsenal.
If he goes to Barcelona, he'd be "just-another-good-player" who warmed the benches at Barcelona.
Until Xavi retires, He isn't gonna get lots of first team chances.

How good will he feel retiring at Arsenal/Barcelona?
At Arsenal, when he retires, he may not have many trophies or medals, but in the few he has, he will feel proud that he won it for Arsenal. He would feel proud that there were so many fans who were so happy for him when he got to lift those trophies.
At Barcelona, when he retires, he will have quite a lot of trophies, yes. Very many trophies and winner's medals. But wouldn't it strike in his mind that he absolutely had NO part in winning those for his team? Wouldn't it be stupid to look at those Many Medals but have no more memories than of sitting on the bench and cheering your winning team-mates on?
Yes,Football is a team sport, But you have to play your part in making your team win. And that is what Fabregas will do at Arsenal. And that is what he won't do at Barcelona for at least another 3-4 years, till Xavi retires.

So, I'd just like to see Arsenal donning the Red and White jersey all his life, but I wouldn't mind him going to Barcelona either since his heart lies there. He bleeds Barcelona.
And Barcelona being my second favourite team after Arsenal, I would love to own a Fabregas jersey in Barcelona colours.

And it's so nice to know that Arsene Wenger has finally decided to spend!! YAY!!
He has deals in place for Gervinho from Lille and Ricky Alvarez from Velez Sarsfield.
He is in advanced stages of bidding for Southampton youngster Alex Oxalade-Chamberlain and Gary Cahill from Bolton.
Ah, Finally the "In Wenger We Trust" motto is gonna be made into a reality.
I really do trust in Wenger this year.
GO GUNNERS!! A Gunner since I was 8!! A Gunner till I die!
